Common questions and solutions for ShadowCore users and server owners.

Got questions? We've got answers. This page covers the most common issues ShadowCore users and server owners run into.

Yes! There are no limits on how many servers you can add ShadowCore to. Each server has its own independent settings.

Yes — ShadowCore can play Spotify tracks and playlists through the music system.

The economy (ShadowCoreCoins, bank, market) is global — your balance follows you across all servers with ShadowCore. The leveling/XP system is per-server — each server has its own independent leaderboard.

Use /help for a full list of commands organized by category.

This means ShadowCore is missing a Discord permission. Check:

1. Go to Server Settings → Roles and find the ShadowCore role
2. Make sure it has the permissions it needs (see the Invite & First Steps page for the full list)
3. Make sure the ShadowCore role is above any roles it needs to manage

Slash commands can take up to 10 minutes to appear after ShadowCore is added. If they still don't appear:

1. Kick and re-invite ShadowCore using the official invite link (make sure to include applications.commands scope)
2. Try restarting your Discord client

1. Make sure ShadowCore has Send Messages and Read Message History permissions in that channel
2. Check that the channel doesn't have special permission overrides blocking ShadowCore
3. Try running /ping to verify it's online

In the invite flow, grant Administrator permission. This is the easiest way to ensure nothing is blocked. Alternatively, grant the specific permissions listed in the Invite Guide.

Use /set features <feature> status: Disable. See the Server Settings page for all toggleable features.

Make sure:

• /welcomer in-channel is set to a valid channel
• /welcomer in-style is set to components-v2
• ShadowCore has Embed Links and Send Messages permissions in that channel

Make sure:

• You are already in a voice channel before using /music play
• ShadowCore has Connect and Speak permissions in that voice channel
• The voice channel isn't full (check the user limit)

Make sure:

• ShadowCore's role is higher than the roles you're assigning in the role hierarchy
• ShadowCore has Manage Roles permission
• The message you attached reaction roles to still exists

• If you configured a verification channel, make sure ShadowCore has Send Messages there
• If using DM-only mode, make sure users have DMs open from server members
• Run /verify status to check your current configuration

Run /tempvoice repair to recreate missing channels and relink the configuration. If the panel message was deleted, run /tempvoice setup again.
